“As from now, the Swiss National Library is present on Delicious, one of the most popular social bookmarking sites. Via these pages, the NL provides another way to access its research tools about Switzerland. Relevant links are saved online so that they can be shared with thousands of other users. “To the uninformed, its just another hardware store, but Meyers Ace Hardware in Bronzeville is actually the historic site of the legendary Sunset Café — a legendary club where Louis Armstrong and other greats once played. Its also one of more than 20 locations on mobile application Foursquare that now count toward a new ” Chicago Blues” badge. The Chicago Office of Tourism launched a new partnership Tuesday with Foursquare… Check in to five famous movie sites — like 18th Street and South Normal Avenue, location of the fictional Saint Helen of the Blessed Shroud orphanage from “The Blues Brothers (1980) — and youll earn an “On Location” badge. Or, show your Chicago pride with a “Celery Salt” badge for checking in at locales that sell the fair citys colorful Chicago-style hot dogs. Just dont expect all businesses to reward you for “checking in.” Many often arent aware of their roles in the application.”
