  2. I love these pictures of “alternative” reading! I am developing a Reading and Web 2.O online professional development class for teachers and I plan to go to this web site to create posters similar to yours. I’ll be sure to include a hat tip to you!

Thanks for the great idea! Also I plan to share the poster link with my sister who is a 1st grade teacher. Her kids will love having their own poster.

  4. I like these a lot, they speak very well to Gen Y and beyond in terms of the way they interact with information. They still need the message to read, though, because that isn’t necessarily inferred in their interacting!

  11. Oh no! I made a big plan to use this software to make mini read posters
during Banned Books Week, but now I see that the link is broken. It looks
like ALA took down the software. Does anyone know anything about this? or where I can find the software now?? Thanks!

  12. Hi, Susan –

The link just hasn’t been redirected yet in the new website launch. You can access it at http://www.ala.org/ala/aboutala/hqops/publishing/graphics/READ_Mini_Posters.cfm. If at all possible, please add your posters to the READ Flickr pool so that we can all see them!

    Best,
    Jenny
