Blogging the Bloggers!

Hey, I'm blogging at BloggerCon! I'm taking separate notes, which I'll link to from here. BTW, the TextAmerica folks have set up a moblog for Bloggercon!

Weblogs and Journalism
Personal comment I would add: there was discussion about how kids believe everything they read, and I would have added that blogging can help with this because when students can blog whatever they want, they'll learn that this can happen in any medium and they'll have a better frame of reference in which to evaluate the media they consume. Maybe this will come up on the education panel.

What I Wanted to Say at BloggerCon

Cluetrain 2003

Doh! I forgot to point to the live webcast. Oh, and Harold Gilchrist is sitting next to me posting audioblog posts in real-time!

Blogs and Presidential Politics

Dave asks us to remind everyone that tomorrow's sessions are free, so come on by.

Other BloggerCon catches: LocalFeeds and Feedster BloggerCon Edition.

My two favorites quotes heard at the reception and after:

  • Kevin Marks (I think he's the one that said this, correct me if I'm wrong): "The Bible invented permalinks."
  • Phil Wolff: "I Google my memory now."

Overall, a great day, and I'm looking forward to more tomorrow.
